EFAD Congress

“Rethink. Reform. Sustain: Dietitians at the Forefront of Change” is the theme of the 15th EFAD Congress 2025 in Malmö, Sweden. This year we focus on the vital role dietitians play in building a sustainable future. From ensuring health equity to championing sustainable food systems, our profession stands at the center of urgent, transformative action.

We are excited to host this congress in collaboration with the Swedish Association of Registered Dietitians and our Nordic colleagues. Together, we will explore innovative research, impactful practices, and strategies that bridge our work along the health pathway. Malmö, with its rich tradition of sustainability, provides the perfect setting for these vital discussions.

We are welcoming you to explore new ideas, forge connections, and, above all, to rethink and reform for a healthier, more sustainable tomorrow. We look forward to the exchange of knowledge and experiences that will inspire us all to be at the forefront of positive change.

We are excited to invite you to contribute to the scientific programme of the EFAD Congress 2025 by submitting an abstract for oral or poster presentation. 

The EFAD Congress is the leading platform for dietitians, researchers, and health professionals across Europe to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and showcase innovative practices in dietetics and nutrition. Whether you’re conducting cutting-edge research, developing impactful community programmes, or driving change through policy or education, we want to hear from you!

Submit your abstract at the latest on June 1 and become part of our congress programme. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by July 1st.
